The Tall Ships Races Harlingen 2022, Harlingen. The last edition took place in 2016 and attracted over 500.000 visitors. Réalta Events Management has started work on a Cost Plan, on behalf of Shetland Tall Ships, as part of the bid to bring the popular Tall Ships race back to Shetland in 2023. A bid has been launched to bring the Tall Ships Races back to the town for 2023 Hartlepool Borough Council has launched a bid to bring the event to its marina once more following the success of the event in 2010, when hundreds of thousands of visitors from far and wide flocked to see the vessels as they visited as part of the world-famous celebration. Shetland hosted the Tall Ships Races in 1999 and 2011, and in the chamber last year it was noted that the economic impact was secondary to the boost to the community. The summer Tall Ships Race 2020 is aimed at young people but there are nearly always opportunities to sail and race for adults too.You can sail an impressively large tall ship and Classic Sailing will have a mix of tall ships you can join, but it can be awesome to be part of a racing crew on a smaller sailing ship. In september 2021 every sea will be present in Lisbon, as this is the starting point of the Tall Ships Race with the participation of the largest and most beautiful sailing ships in the world.
We will do all this with a degree of personal intimacy that will make the visit so very special to all the crew and create lasting relationships and stories for years to come.
